Dear Mary, Mother of Mercy,
Who could ever measure the kindness and love in your heart? Earthly queens may have jewels and treasures, but your riches are far greater — they are mercy and compassion. Your treasures are the sinners you’ve helped, the sick you’ve healed, and the sorrowful you’ve comforted.
Please turn your gentle eyes toward me, dear Mother. I, too, am in need of your help and comfort. Sometimes I feel weighed down by my mistakes and troubles, and I grow tired from the struggles around me.
O Mary, refuge of sinners, please pray for me. Heal the hurt caused by my sins and bring peace to my heart when I am afraid or sad. Stay close to me always, especially at the hour of my death.
Amen.
— Love, Kathy
